What are some ways to cope with sexual dysfunction caused medication? An issue that, oftentimes, comes up if somebody’s taking blood pressure medication or some other kinds of medications that have an impact on one’s sexual functioning is, what do we do about that? Well, the first thing is you have to quit think outside the box about sex. You don’t always have to have an erection in order to be sexual with a partner. You know, you can use your tongue, for example. I mean, there are all kinds of other creative ways to deal with the situation. So, if you’re having trouble, I think it goes to more the issue of how do you deal with a problem when you have it. How do you approach that problem? I really want you to hear this: the problem is never the problem. It’s how we’re responding to it. It’s how we’re dealing with it. So, if I have a problem, I need to look at how I’m responding to it if I want to get some idea about how to solve it.
